Have you seen the button on my sidebar for Kimoyes - gorgeous Japanese fabric? Jill is having a sale til midnight this Friday and it's HUGE with lots of vintage kimono fabric and more. I ordered some this morning and it's already on its way to me. How's that for service! If you're into oriental check it out.

This is the plan ....

and this is the start!
I made a blue when cutting the border squares but I'm sure it will all work in the end.
It's a reproduction of a quilt made in the 1850's.

You might have seen a previous post with this quilt half done - now it's all done and looks pretty groovy doesn't it. I'm really happy with the result - all planned in EQ.
In April this year I'll be doing two days of classes at Hobbysew in Belconnen, a Canberra suburb. They have been promoting the classes already here. A nice wrap for me I thought - thanks Hobbysew.
If you are a member of the NSW Quilters Guild you will have received the latest issue of The Template. Check out the article on our Springwood Quilt Show - a very nice write up submitted by Vicki our publicity officer which gives you all the details for a fabulous three days 29 April to 1 May.
On the subject of the show entry forms are available now from the show blog. Just click on the sidebar and print them off. If you are a quilter from the Blue Mountains area we'd love to have you display your work.
Entries close 31st March.
